Someone, can you hear me

I cry every day
all alone
my backpack
still has my homework 
my sandwich 
fell in the street
when the men
stole me
they stole me
I am five years old
can’t count higher
I miss my little bear
that has slept with me
through my whole life
I’m scared that
little bear 
will miss me
maybe
he’ll cry for me
my name is Liam
if you can hear me

please
ask my teacher
what happened
to the American dream
now I am living
in a nightmare
and maybe
my little bear
